Today, as I was putting the finishing touches on our shop in Marrakech (omg...our shop in MARRAKECH!), I glanced at my phone and realised the date was 11/11. My initial reaction was pleasant surprise, and then that feeling quickly shifted to complete gratitude. Gratitude for the divine (the universe, the higher power, the source, however you want to package it up!) always showing me affirmation and support.

Sometimes it takes a major fashion house to confirm that something’s officially “a thing.” Matthieu Blazy’s recent debut presentation for Chanel at Paris Fashion Week did exactly that. Models paraded through a spectacular, larger-than-life solar-system set with metallic handbags, space-age planetary jewellery, fluid silhouettes, and sharp tailoring that felt part cosmic, part futuristic but, at the same time, so quintessentially Chanel.
